Last Saturday marked the end of the first week of class. Getting back in the groove of teaching was much easier than I thought, plus I was blessed with great students for my first set of classes! The biggest challenges were re-organizing some areas of the studio to make it more functional, (as I only need a table and a wheel for myself) and finding out what I still needed to acquire for my students (silly things like more buckets and sponges).

I was reminded of why I love to teach – watching someone with little experience just take to pottery like a duck to water! Throwing on the wheel is difficult, but some people just have a knack from the get-go! It’s really amazing!
