Cheers to 2 years!

adminUncategorized

I just celebrated two years in my Port Huron studio! Even with the ups and downs, I can’t imagine life without my little corner spot. The magic hasn’t worn off yet, in fact i’m even more grateful that I have a space to create and teach in, in fall of 2020. I’m also thankful for all of the students i’ve met and friends made. You all enrich my life!

My students are about to finish up the first session back since the shutdown and it has been nice to get back into routine, with a little extra cleaning and of course face masks. Wedging clay with a face mask on isn’t super fun, but it will have to do. Reducing class size has been positive, students seem more relaxed and I can give them more of my time. We are getting through this and making beautiful things.

Le Marché opened up last week! If you haven’t had a chance to make it to 201 N Riverside in St. Clair, please do! It’s a great space with great anchor vendors and more space for creative folks to fill up. Check out the website for all of the details: www.lemarchestclair.com Here are some photos of the opening:

Tara Forstner in her booth; Tara has worked out of my studio for a year and half! Her pottery and reclaimed wood art is beautiful!
Soaps by the Sea – Amazing goat’s milk soaps and beauty sponges
My booth complete with pottery wheel! Thank you to Aarow Signs in Lakeport for the vinyl on the back wall 🙂

October classes are now posted, click here for dates.

I hope you are enjoying the first full week of fall ~ one of my absolute favorite times of the year.

Until next time
